Shelley Weinreb - Art Director/Creative Director
Shelley started her career as an Art Director when she spent a summer as technical illustrator of finds on an archeological dig of a Roman Villa in Tuscany. From there she studied fine art at The University of Guelph and Communication and Design at OCAD and became an Art Director. With 23 years of experience as an art director, Shelley has spent her career in agencies of all sizes on accounts ranging from The Canadian Mental Health Association, World Wildlife Fund, Colon Cancer Canada to GM, Scotiabank, Clorox, Unilever, Proctor & Gamble, Rogers, Microsoft, and Labatt. She uses her experience working in all media to nurture ideas, shape brands and forge connections. Shelley has been recognized for her creative work on the local and world stage in shows ranging from The Clios and London International to The Cannes Advertising Festival.
Shelley co-owns and operates a wallpaper design and manufacturing company, which in its first year of business has grown to include custom design projects for Live Nation, Marriott Hotels, and celebrity clients. Fine & Dandy Co. has been featured several times in House & Home magazine, CityLine, Interior Design magazine and named one of the 3 best wallpaper companies globally by Origin Magazine.
When she is not hard at work shaping brands or designing wallpaper, Shelley enjoys spending time with her son, designing cakes and innovating products. Her ardour for antiques often results in the acquisition of large pieces of furniture whose scale precludes them from entering her home, yet she continues to collect.
